Daniel 2:16-18

The Voice

¹⁶ So Daniel entered the palace and asked the king to give him a little more time so that he could come back and tell the king both what he dreamed and what it all meant.

¹⁷ After Daniel made his request, he returned home and told his friends—Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah—what was going on. ¹⁸ He asked them to pray and plead for mercy so that the God of heaven might reveal this mystery. If Daniel and his friends could tell the king what he wanted to know, then they would not be put to death along with the other wise men of Babylon.
